UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2008 - Don't get excited, we have not added to our Crested family, however, you may have noticed pictures of a little fuzzy dog. Remember him? Valentino? I was taking are of him for his owners until they found a place to live. Well, he was gone for about 5 months but he’s back with me and I’m thrilled. He seems to have grown up quite a bit (he’ll be 3 in December) and he is now my shadow. He’ll have a bio page soon. ALSO, I've told you my mom moved in with us and I believe I told you all it was fantastic. Yeah…well…it is, however, if you’re a female, think back to your relationship with your mom. Now, imagine your mom at 84 who now acts like she’s 5. Ha!Ha!Ha! It’s tough, really tough sometimes but it’s all good in the end. There’s never, EVER a dull moment in my house so go check out all the new pictures and enjoy!

Hi, my name is Cathy and I am owned by a German Shepherd, 6 Chinese Cresteds and 2 cats. I treat my animals as if they were children, they treat me as if I were a God.

At one time, I attempted to volunteer with a rescue group by the name of Doodle Dawgs. Please visit their site at www.doodledawgs.petfinder.com. My family grew so quickly, I found it hard to keep up with Doodle Dawgs but I have recently found some time to volunteer, once a week, at my local animal shelter in their adoption center. When I was a child, I begged my dad for a dog, but he always said "no." So, I ended up growing up with cats, which I adored. One of my "when I'm an adult" dreams was to have a house full of dogs and cats. And here I am today to share with you a little bit of my life with my DGZnCTZ.
